We have two waters available.

The Lake
Approximately 11/2 acres in size with just ? pegs.

Very exclusive and very tranquil.

Originally constructed by the monks at Hailes Abbey. This water is hundreds of years old and is still unspoilt. A truly tranquil experience, very pretty, with a beautiful island in the middle.

This water lends itself to private parties of fishermen looking for something different.

Species:

  • Mirror and Common Carp up to 20lbs in weight.
  • Rudd up to 1lb in weight.

The Reservoir

Its main function on the farm is to provide water for the crops that surround it. Dramatically enlarged in 1977 after the drought of 1976. Much more open than the lake and a little cheaper.

As you can see from the photograph, this water is also incredibly picturesque and parties of up to 15 fishermen can be accommodated.

  • Mirror and Common Carp up to 15lbs in weight.

  • Crucian Carp 2lbs plus in weight. Also Roach, Rudd and Perch.
